Penile Curvature
Penile curvature is normal, and is thought to be a common part of standard human deviation.
If you look closely at your fingers, you might notice a slight curve or bend in one of them, or at least that not all 10 are perfectly straight, either.
Penile curvature just as normal as it is for a woman’s breasts to appear in all different shapes and sizes or for women’s vulvas to come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Sometimes, the penis will be curved during erection in slightly different ways at different times, or at different stages in a man’s life.
What causes penile curvature?
Penile curvature is normally a result of the one side of the penis not developing equally with the other side.
This can happen for example from wearing tight underwear and folding the penis to one side. Blood flow is constricted on the bending side, and the stretched side can develop faster, resulting in an uneven penis curve.
Some penis curves a good and some women like a penis that has an upward curve, as it can touch and stimulate her G-spot better than a straight penis can.
However, a penis curve that bends to the left or right can be embarrassing to have and having a curve that you don’t want can negatively affect your confidence and cause you to miss out on amazing sexual opportunities.
If a penis curve is causing you a low self esteem, then you should know you can easily start to straighten your penis with regular use of a penis enlargement traction device, explained below.
How do I know if I have Peyronie’s Disease?
If your penis quickly starts to bend during erection (and especially if you notice any pain), or the bend gets worse over time, then you should see a doctor that specializes in men’s health (a urologist).
Your situation could be Peyronie’s disease, which is fully curable, and occurs when a fibrous plaque tissue develops on the tunica albuginea (the connective tissue that encases the two main blood filling chambers of the penis) and hardens.
This hardened plaque turns into scar tissue that reduces flexibility and can cause pain during an erection as the hardened scar tissue does not allow the penis to expand in some areas.
